| The Article Spinner Myth |

Article spinners are everywhere these days. You can get paid ones and you can get free ones. They all vary in their abilities, but there is a glaring reality that you need to know about before you even begin to use this type of tool.
Contrary to popular belief, spinning your article, or any content for that matter, doesn't actually do you any justice. In fact, it makes things worse. If you are questioning my reasoning behind this, then you need to think about this:
Do newspapers get penalized when their articles get syndicated?
The simple answer for this is no, but there is much more behind this than both you and I can comprehend, but I will try and introduce some enlightening aspects that you might appreciate.
Think about this. If the original authoring site of a major world-wide event were to publish a report, and then a bunch of syndicated, lesser known, newspaper sources were to publish that exact same story, do you think Google would de-index the original publishing site because there is now a bunch of duplicate content that is published and available on the web?
Highly unlikely. Now I am speaking in terms of major publication and news sites, but the "cards" still hold true for your site.
What it comes down to is this: If you publish something on your own site and your content gets indexed by Google, do you need to spin your article out and make it unique so that you can avoid the duplicate content penalty?
The answer is NO.
Your site will NOT be penalized if you publish the exact same content you wrote. In fact, your site will benefit, because your content will be syndicated, but the difference is, there will be a link pointed back to your site with your keyword in it that will help boost your site up in the search engine rankings.
But What About My Search Rankings?
The answer is easy. If your competition wanted to get you booted from your existing search engine placement, then they would have already taken your content on your website and submitted it everywhere, thus resulting in a duplicate content penalty.
Also, and from what I've read, bad links coming from bad neighborhoods don't hurt search engine rankings, but they also don't benefit rankings either. Basically, they do nothing. If they did hurt you, then there would be a ton of viagra links pointed at you and every webmaster would be doing the same thing trying to knock you out of the search engines.
So what does all this mean?
Simple. Forget spinning and start thinking submissions.
What you need to do is get your content out there. No doubt about it. If you only publish your content in one spot, then you are wasting your time.
You need to put your articles and content everywhere on the internet, and you can do that using article submission software.
One particular software that is currently dominating the market is called Article Marketing Robot. It has the ability to submit to over 900 article directories, plus the high PR ones that really make a difference.
