When you run a http://www.homenetpro.com/ home based business, there are always lots of different tasks that need to be done. Some have deadlines and others can be done at any time. Some are big tasks and others only require a few minutes of your attention. However, focus on everything and you\'ll get nothing done.
No matter how hard you try, it\'s impossible to do everything at the same time. You have one brain, two eyes and two hands. If you try to do too many things at the same time, the chances are very high that some of the jobs will be done badly and you\'ll only need to redo them later.
The most efficient way to run any business is to make a list of all the jobs that need doing and then prioritize them. There will always be jobs that can wait and others that are more urgent. Make a daily list and a weekly list. This way you can add any of the incomplete jobs from that day to the following day\'s list and maybe give them a higher priority.
This list MUST include everything you can think of including: checking emails, having meals, time for telephone calls, time for regular breaks and also schedule an hour a day for miscellaneous. This will help cover the jobs that may run overtime and help you stay on track.
Emails are a big waste of time if you check them as they come in. Set aside two or three times a day to check and act on them. Then forget about that task. It\'s very easy to get sidetracked when reading and acting on emails one at a time.
Running a http://www.homenetpro.com/ home business also means that you have big jobs and small jobs to tackle. Sometimes the bigger jobs may take a day or a week, and so you can fit other jobs around them. Remember that YOU control your time and you only get 24 hours in a day. If you waste it, you can\'t just ask for more. Time control can break or make your business if not managed wisely.
If you simply can\'t cope with all the tasks on a daily basis, you may have to consider getting extra help. Family members could be a possible option. Maybe you need a part time employee for some of the work or you hire a freelancer to help you with some aspects of your business. Finally, if you\'re so busy and also making good money, perhaps getting a partner involved might be beneficial.
Focus on everything and you\'ll get nothing done. This is VITAL to the success of your business - so control your time instead of wasting it. |
