For families that are just starting, both parents have to work to be able to supply the needs of the family. There are bills to pay for, food should be served at least three times a day, and there are other basic necessities that have to be met.

The major drawback when both parents decide to work is the children. Who will look after the children? Who will be looking after their needs?

Caring for your kids is a major issue. You have a number of options. First, you can just leave the work to one parent. If the other parent?s earning is good enough for the family, then there is no reason for you to work. Just spend your time taking care of your children. Your children?s safety and welfare should always be prioritised.

Second, work in shifts. If one parent works in the morning, the other should work at night. If you just manage your time, both of you will be able to work and you will not be compromising the welfare of the children. You will also both be able to spend some quality time with your children.

Third, you can put the children in cr?ches. As long as you go to a good, credible, and trustworthy cr?che, you can be sure that your children will be in good hands. One very notable advantage of putting your children in cr?ches is that your children will learn to be independent. They will learn how to do basic things on their own and they will also learn how to socialise with people of different age range.

Fourth, you can hire a live in nanny. The good thing about hiring a nanny is that she will be able to give close attention to your children. If you only have one child, the nanny will be able to take care of him on a one on one basis. If you have a number of children, you can either hire one nanny each or just hire a single nanny to look after all of them.

Lastly, if you have a relative who doesn?t have any work at the moment, you can ask him/her to look after your children for you. You will have better peace of mind if your children are being looked after by people who are related to you by blood. You know that they have sincere concern for the welfare of your children.

If you are starting a family and you have children already, you have the mentioned options to choose from if you both want to work.
